From initial interest to fully live on your routes.
CloudCam iQ does more than ship hardware. We help design your camera and tracking architecture, coordinate installs, verify everything in the portal and support the system long after vehicles go live.
One clear path from planning to sign-off.
Every fleet is different, but the implementation path should still feel organized. We move in clear stages so your team always knows what is happening, what comes next and when vehicles are ready to roll.
Discovery & design
We map vehicles, routes, depots and exposure points, then design the right mix of dash cams, auxiliary views, trackers and power options.
Scheduling & prep
Installs are scheduled around your operation—nights, weekends or phased rollout waves—so downtime stays controlled.
On-vehicle installation
Technicians mount cameras, run cabling, connect power and trackers, and label everything clearly. Photos and notes are captured by unit.
Portal verification
Before a vehicle goes back into service, we confirm live video, GPS, events and system health inside the CloudCam iQ environment.
Training & handoff
Safety, dispatch and maintenance teams get the guidance they need to use the system confidently and request support going forward.
Built for working fleets, not lab conditions
Whether you operate school buses, regional trucking, waste routes, paratransit or mixed equipment, the rollout is planned around your schedule rather than ours.
Many customers start with one yard, region or pilot group, then expand once drivers and internal teams see the value in the field.

What actually goes on the vehicle?
Every install is tailored, but most vehicles follow a familiar structure: a core dash cam, optional auxiliary views, a tracker and the right power setup to keep everything stable and visible.
Dash cam & interior views
- Lite or Plus dash cam positioned at the windshield.
- Optional interior dome cameras for aisles or passenger areas.
- Optional side and rear cameras for blind spots, loading zones and backing.
Vehicle tracker
- OBD, hardwired or rugged trackers based on vehicle type and duty cycle.
- Live GPS, trip history and diagnostics into the CloudCam iQ portal.
- Optional solar and asset tracking for trailers and equipment.
Power & cabin options
- PowerBox Max and wiring approach matched to the vehicle platform.
- Optional battery backup for critical views and uptime protection.
- Optional privacy cover where interior video must be controlled.
A typical full-stack vehicle might include a Plus dash cam, an interior camera, a rear camera, a vehicle tracker, PowerBox Max and a backup battery. The goal is to size the system correctly for the fleet, not overbuild it.
Keep hardware protected with a predictable service model.
Once the system is live, you can stay on the standard warranty or enroll in the CloudCam iQ service program for broader repair and replacement coverage.
With service program
- Warranty and out-of-warranty repairs and replacements included.
- Unlimited warranty while enrolled in the program.
- Simplified support with fewer hardware surprises.
- Replacement coordination and support for shop-side swaps.
Without service program
- Standard 3-year warranty on covered hardware only.
- Customer is responsible for labor costs unless arranged separately.
- Out-of-warranty issues are not covered by CloudCam iQ.
- Best fit for fleets that prefer to fully own repair risk internally.
You can decide fleet-wide or by group which units enroll in the $5 per unit monthly program. We can walk through the right model during your demo based on fleet size, usage and internal support capacity.
Proof that the install is actually doing its job.
A successful installation is not just about hardware placement. It is about clean, usable visibility in the portal. Before a rollout is considered complete, we verify the information your team will rely on day to day.
Live map & vehicle status
Vehicles appear on the map with accurate status, recent events and check-in visibility so dispatch and safety teams can confirm systems are truly online.
Route & trip history
Breadcrumbs and trip history confirm that GPS, events and video are tied to real vehicle activity—not just a basic connectivity check.

What we’ll cover with you
- Your fleet mix, including school buses, trucks, waste, paratransit, construction and more.
- Which vehicles need Lite vs Plus, and where auxiliary cameras or trackers make sense.
- The best install windows around routes, yards, weekends, phased waves or pilot groups.
- How the $5 per unit monthly service program fits your support strategy and budget.
After submission, we follow up with a recommended approach focused on rollout clarity—not just pricing.
